The production of the SCIRT WORLD BUSKERS FESTIVAL is overseen
by a wonderful group of volunteer trustees, all of whom are
passionate about the SCIRT WORLD BUSKERS FESTIVAL, and about
providing Christchurch with a well deserved laugh!
The World Buskers Festival Trust is:
Geoff Cranko - Chair
Geoff is Group Managing Partner of Strategy, one of the largest
privately owned design and advertising companies in New Zealand.
He provides practical marketing and business knowledge to the
festival and has been on the Trust since 2010. He sits on number of
other private company boards and is also a trustee of the
Canterbury Medical Research Foundation and the CPIT Foundation.
Geoff is most looking forward to the last show of the festival -

BUSKER BEST BITS - having enjoyed the previous 10 days
of world class entertainment.
Stephen Astor
Stephen is the owner of Stephen Astor CPA Ltd. He is also an
owner of AUIP Ltd, a company that brings over 1000 university
students to New Zealand, and he has been an Investment Manager at
Southern Response (formerly AMI) since 1999. Stephen was a trustee
on Festival City Trust, the Trust that governed the festival prior
to Council's purchase of it in 2010, and has continued on with the
World Buskers Festival Trust since its establishment in 2010.
Stephen's favourite SCIRT WORLD BUSKERS FESTIVAL events are Adgraphix NOTHING BUT STAND UP: THE
GENTS and More FM NOTHING BUT STAND UP: THE
LADIES.
Beth Dunn
Beth's governance experience includes Chairperson of the Anger
Change Trust and the Riccarton High School Board of Trustees. She
has previously been a trustee on the Riccarton House and Bush Trust
and is a past member of the Riccarton Wigram Community Board. Beth
is a Justice of the Peace, District Councillor (and Deputy Chair)
of the Canterbury Westland District Council of the Automobile
Association, a panellist on the Community Justice Panel and a
Councillor on the Canterbury Justices of the Peace Association
Council.

Murray Johnson
Murray was a Trustee on the Eureka Trust for eight years. Murray
recently sold his business in the packing industry and is currently
employed by Fulton Hogan, initially assisting with earthquake
recovery and now in traffic management. Murray has had a long term
involvement with Canterbury rugby.
Murray can't wait to see the CHIPOLATAS at the 2014
festival.
Helena McIntyre
Helena's experience within the Meeting and Events industry has
spanned over 20 years. She has worked in senior management roles
for some of the Australia's leading event companies, including HS
Communique, which she owned and managed in excess of ten
years. With a Bachelor of Commerce and as a certified MEA
graduate, Helena is one of Australasia's leading conference and
incentive leaders. Helena joined the Trust in 2013.
Helena is a big fan of THE BOY WITH TAPE ON HIS FACE
and can't wait to see him at the festival this year.
Stella Ward
Stella is the Executive Director of Allied Health. As part of
the Executive Management Teams of West Coast and Canterbury
District Health Boards Stella has a number of Executive Portfolios
that include the Health Precinct; Health Innovation and she Chairs
the West Coast Clinical Board and the West Coast Alliance
Leadership Team
Stella first attended the SCIRT WORLD BUSKERS FESTIVAL in 1994!
This year she is excited about celebrating the festival's 21st
birthday, bringing belly laughs to a city that deserves a few,
being surprised by the new acts and iSite
BUSKERS BURLESQUE.
